RENO, NV — A new poll from the Trafalgar Group — one of the highest-rated national polling firms by FiveThirtyEight’s poll accuracy ratings — shows Adam Laxalt with a 4-point lead over Catherine Cortez Masto in the Nevada Senate race. This is the tenth public poll released since the start of September showing Laxalt ahead of Cortez Masto.
Based on the latest survey trends, the Real Clear Politics polling average has Laxalt with a 1.2 percent lead over Cortez Masto. The site projects that this toss-up race will be a "GOP pickup." "Catherine Cortez Masto has stood side by side with President Biden, helping him enact policies that have plunged our economy into a recession and undermined the livelihoods of hardworking families across our state," said Laxalt. "Nevadans are sending a clear message that they don’t want a rubber stamp. They want a Senator who will fight on their behalf day in and day out. And that is exactly what I intend to do."
