Laxalt Campaign Launches New Ad Highlighting Consequences of Cortez Masto’s 'Total Devotion to Joe Biden’

RENO, NV - Today, Adam Laxalt's campaign released a new ad highlighting record inflation, high gas prices, high home heating costs, the declining stock market, and looming recession – all consequences of Senator Catherine Cortez Masto’s “total devotion to Joe Biden.”
Cortez Masto pledged to “be there 100% for Joe Biden,” and she has been. She voted for 100% of Biden’s disastrous economic agenda that wrecked our economy, and as Biden said himself earlier this year, Cortez Masto is one of the senators who has “supported me in the Senate on virtually everything I asked.”
“Cortez Masto doesn’t get it,” Laxalt’s ad concludes. “It’s time to elect a senator who does.”

In 2021, Cortez Masto voted three times against legislation to prohibit a ban on fracking.
In 2021, Cortez Masto voted four times against advancing the Keystone XL Pipeline, killing roughly 11,000 good-paying jobs in the process.
In 2021, Cortez Masto supported legislation to index the federal gas tax to inflation.
In 2021, Cortez Masto voted to limit oil and gas leasing in the U.S., fulfilling a promise to limit U.S. production she laid out in a 2020 op-ed.
In March 2021, Biden and Cortez Masto teamed up to pass the second-largest spending bill in American history, flooding our economy with more than $1.9 trillion.
Later that year, Biden and Cortez Masto worked hand in hand to pass a $1.2 trillion infrastructure spending bill.
This past August, they worked together to pass the $54 billion CHIPS spending bill.
Two weeks later, Cortez Masto and Biden forced through a massive $750 billion spending package.
And to top it all off, Joe Biden went ahead and forgave more than $500 billion in student debt - leaving hard-working families to pick up the check.
During election cycles, Cortez Masto will pretend to be a moderate and distance herself from Biden, but the truth is Cortez Masto votes with Biden almost 100% of the time.
