Laxalt Campaign Launches Ladies for Laxalt Coalition With Kick-Off Event in Reno

RENO, NV — On Friday, Nevada U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt officially launched the campaign’s Ladies for Laxalt coalition with a kick-off event in Reno. The event included a panel discussion headed by Jaime Laxalt, Adam Laxalt’s wife, Cindy Carano, community leader and retired hotel executive, and Patty Cafferata, former Nevada State Treasurer and Assemblywoman. Other special guests included former Nevada First Lady, Dema Guinn, and Senator Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi Cruz. “I believe in him. He loves his State, and he loves his country. He’s honest. He’s caring. But most of all he’s a wonderful family man,” Dema Guinn stated. “This is a very important election, I’m quite sure all of you know that. It’s important for Nevada and for our country. I think Adam is the right person to be our next US Senator.” Adam spoke on issues important to mothers across the state of Nevada, including how the COVID-19 Lockdowns in 2020 prevented parents from taking their kids to outdoor sports. “Our kids couldn’t play baseball and soccer outside. Guess what, in the state of Florida and other states, of course kids were allowed to do sports outside. We are suffering under real poor leadership.” Adam argued that Democrats should wake up and say they made a mistake, that their science was wrong, and that it was time for Nevadans to choose new leadership. Patty Cafferata spoke about Laxalt’s success as Attorney General in fighting the opioid epidemic, calling attention to how Adam ensured all police outfits had access to overdose antidotes: “If there’s an issue, here’s a guy who can figure it out and get it done, and we’re all in a better place for it.”

“I am honored by the outpouring of support I’ve received from women across the state of Nevada,” said Laxalt. “In traveling around the state, I’ve heard from countless Nevada women who are fed up with Cortez Masto’s failed liberal policies that have undermined the safety of our communities and left families struggling to get by. They know it is time for a change. I am grateful for their support and the energy, enthusiasm and dedication they bring to our campaign.”
