Adam Laxalt Statement On Ketanji Brown Jackson's Nomination

RENO, NV - Nevada Republican U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt released the following statement on Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court: "After reviewing her Senate Judiciary Committee testimony, I am extremely concerned with many aspects of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record and judicial philosophy. "It’s clear to me that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson subscribes to the brand of progressive jurisprudence that permits criminals to have a strengthened foothold against law enforcement and law-abiding citizens. Our country cannot continue following an ideology that has terrorized communities with rampant crime. "Further, it is no secret that the radical left-wing groups that promoted her nomination were instantly rewarded with her unwillingness to draw a hard line against their plans to pack the court and destroy this institution. Even liberal Justices Ginsburg and Breyer spoke vociferously against this idea. "Lastly, I am troubled by extreme personal views such as her unwillingness to define a biological woman and her relationship with institutions teaching CRT. "Much like my opponent, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, this nominee cloaks herself as a moderate and is dutifully portrayed as such by Senate Democrats and the media, but she is unquestionably a radical leftist. "I oppose the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson and in the Senate will vote ‘no’ on confirming judges at any level with these troubling aspects of their record and judicial philosophy."
