Today, the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce announced that they are endorsing Adam Laxalt for Governor. The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce is the broadest-based business organization in Nevada, representing many of the state’s leading job-creators.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. As Governor, I’ll always promote common-sense policies that create more jobs and more prosperity for every Nevadan. Low taxes, small government, better schools—that’s how we’ll build on our economic growth and make Nevada the economic engine of the west,” said Adam Laxalt
“Adam Laxalt has demonstrated his strong commitment to ensuring that Nevada’s employers and entrepreneurs have a strong business climate, with reasonable regulations and low taxes, that is necessary to grow their operations, thrive, and create jobs,” said Hugh Anderson, chairman of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee.
This announcement follows endorsements from the Nevada chapter of NFIB, which represents small businesses around the state, 75% of all county commissioners, former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman, former Reno mayor Bob Cashell, a bipartisan majority of Nevada’s sitting mayors, 15 of 17 sitting Sheriffs, the Nevada Veterans Association, and more.
