Steve Sisolak’s new ad is based on a lie
Adam Laxalt will protect Nevadans with pre-existing conditions

Steve Sisolak’s closing ad is full of lies. Here are some of the most outrageous:

“I’ve taken on bullies my whole life.”
In fact, Steve Sisolak has long been known as a bully. His Reno Gazette-Journal profile opens with the fact that “He’s been called a bully and a bulldozer.” The Las Vegas Review-Journal called him a “political bulldozer” and said “he can be a bully whose motto is his way or the highway.” Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman said Sisolak doesn’t have the character to be governor, and added that he was “selfish” and “puerile.”

“[Adam Laxalt would] let insurance companies deny people coverage, just because they have a pre-existing condition.”
Adam Laxalt will protect Nevadans with pre-existing conditions. Adam’s mom said it best in a recent advertisement: “I’m a single mother. I raised Adam and his sisters alone. I’ve had MS for the course of my son’s life. I’m into the latest stages. Steve Sisolak is a career politician. When he says my son would deprive you of pre-existing condition coverage, he’s a liar. I am a pre-existing condition.”

“Laxalt fought against Governor Sandoval’s funding for schools.”
Adam Laxalt disagreed with the decision to implement the commerce tax, which was not earmarked for education. But he’ll commit $500 million in new funding that will go into the classroom where it belongs, and will give parents more educational options for their children — all while keeping taxes low. Meanwhile, Steve Sisolak’s only solution is to raise taxes. He’s promised to increase property taxes on Nevada families. And the only thing he’s ever done for schools is double student tuition while on the Board of Regents.

Meanwhile, Adam Laxalt is running a positive campaign focused on the issues that matter most. His new ad, which launched today, is about his record of protecting women, veterans, and seniors and his plans to improve education, strengthen the economy, and keep families safe.
