Today, Nevada's chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business, the largest small business association in the country, announced that it is endorsing Adam Laxalt for Governor of Nevada. NFIB Nevada’s announcement can be read here
“I’m honored to have the support of Nevada’s small businesses. These community leaders are the driving force behind our economy. As governor, I’ll get burdensome regulations out of the way and keep taxes on families and small businesses low to help these Nevadans grow their businesses and create more quality jobs,” said Adam Laxalt
“We have a proven fighter for small business in Adam Laxalt,” said Randi Thompson, Nevada state director for NFIB, speaking for the NFIB Nevada PAC, which made the endorsement. “He fundamentally understands that small businesses are not smaller versions of big businesses, which is what we look for most from every candidate. His 100-percent score on our candidate questionnaire is impressive enough, but his pro-small-business accomplishments as attorney general seal the deal with us.”
Adam Laxalt has made economic development a cornerstone of his campaign: pledging to reduce burdensome red tape, keep taxes low, and improve education to strengthen Nevada’s workforce.
This announcement follows endorsements from former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman, former Reno mayor Bob Cashell, a bipartisan majority of Nevada’s sitting mayors, 15 of 17 sitting Sheriffs, the Nevada Veterans Association, and more.
